Therapies
Spinal Decompression
Spinal decompression is designed to relieve pain caused by bulging, degenerating, or herniated discs. By tractioning the spine, pressure on the disc is reduced promoting retraction or repositioning of the bulged or herniated disc material. Lowering the pressure on the disc also allows the influx of healing nutrients to enter the disc. Spinal decompression can help with the following conditions:
-
Degenerative disc disease (DDD)
-
Sciatic nerve pain
-
Bulging disc
-
Hand numbness and tingling

Myofascial Scraping
Muscles have different fibers and when these fibers become tight, toxins can build up, creating adhesions. Myofascial scraping is a muscle therapy technique that uses a stainless-steel instrument to improve areas of adhesion within a muscle. The instrument stretches and relaxes the muscle tissues, thereby increasing blood flow and restoring proper movement patterns. Myofascial scraping can help with the following conditions:
-
Postural Syndrome
-
IT Band Syndrome
-
Plantar Fascitis
Dry Needling
Superficial dry needling relieves myofascial pain by gently inserting solid filiform needles into muscular "knots" known as trigger points. This helps the brain "reset" the muscle to a normal resting tone and improves the muscle's ability to contract and relax. Dry needling can help with the following conditions:
-
Headaches
-
Muscle spasms
-
Tennis and Golfer's elbow
-
Neck and back pain
-
Fibromyalgia
-
Muscle strain

Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS)
EMS sends small electrical pulses through electrodes to the underlying muscles and nerves to relieve pain. The gentle pulses work by blocking pain signals going to the brain, increase endorphins (your body's natural pain killer), and by improving blood circulation to facilitate healing in damaged tissues.
